Analysis: People who are illiterate cannot read. This premise is true but the statement people who cannot read are illiterate is false. Because there are other reasons for example they may be mute.

I'm not going to vote for Senator Snortum in his re-election bid even if his proposal to improve the state's transportation system seems sensible. Last year his wife accused him of having an affair, and now I hear their marriage is rocky.

Analysis: The reason that because of Senator’s affair leading to his rocky marriage figured out in support his/her conclusion is irrelevant to determine whether he/she should vote for Senator Snortum.

Analysis:

 Kiss a boy→ will get pregnant

Sally kissed boys→Now she is pregnant

Kissing and getting pregnant are irrelevant. Sally is pregnant is not relevant to whether she kissed boys or not.
