ENTRY 4
Argument structures and Fallacies.
ITEM 1
The Tiger’s slogan:
“Bản lĩnh đàn ông thời nay. Còn chờ gì nữa”
ð
Irrelevant conclusion
Tiger is a kind of drinks, so it cannot
help you to be stronger or more alert. Men’s bravery and talent have no
connection with enjoying Tiger.
ITEM 2
.
=>Post-hoc fallacy.
Many previous people caught H1N1 virus with
the same symptoms to her. Therefore, she was recommended to stay at home and
use Tami flu and paracetamol. However, this girl’s disease was not like the
others, she was just diagnosed following to the crowd.
ITEM 3
Obama
calls Romney a 'bullshitter' – the election just got a whole lot coarser
Rolling
Stone has quoted the president describing his rival as a 'bullshitter'. Cue
outrage and hysteria from Republicans
ð
Fallacy of relevance: Personal attack
This word emerged in the U.S elections 2012. The
fierce struggle to reach the White House causes the president candidates to
easily lose their control. Instead of criticizing Mr.Mitt Romney’s weaknesses
in his plans only, Mr. Obama directly degraded his opponent by calling him a
“bullshitter” in public. This action was called “personal attack”.
